What is Prosperity?
The state of being in a successful, flourishing and thriving position. To be overtaken by lavishness, to be comfortable lacking nothing. Prosperity should be a whole life state, meaning, to be prosperous in spirit, soul, body, family and financial wealth.
Most people think that prosperity is only a financial state. Actually prosperity is more than that, it is the state of being prosperous and full in any area of our lives. It is being at a place where you are able to pour out onto others. It is meeting the needs of others. God's word tells us in John 10:10, that Jesus came that we may have life and have life more abundantly. Yet today so many people are caught up in the false thinking and teachings that we are not suppose to have things. Truth of the matter is God's will for us is to live the abundant life. LIFE... meaning every area. What kind of father would God be to want his children in lack? God is a good God, He is our heavenly Father and he desires the best for His children. Not for a few to live good and the rest to live a life of lack. In Acts 10:24 the word tells us that God is NO respecter of persons. Therefore, He desires the same for each and every one of His children. No matter where they have been or what they have done. He desires for us to have Total Life Prosperity. PERIOD.
God wants to lavish us with His goodness. He wants us to be a blessing in order that we can bless someone else. The fact is those without can't help anyone. If one is broke in their spirit, they can't lift another, because they themselves are down. If one is broke in their health, they are weak and not able to assist others because of their affliction. If one is in broken family situation they can't assist others and be an example of how to have a loving family,, because they live in chaos and confusion. Lastly, if one is broke in their finances they can't assist anyone else financially, because they are robbing from Peter to pay Paul themselves.
In Ephesians 3:20 the word tells us that God will bless us exceedingly abundantly above all we can dare ask or think. Why do you suppose that He wants to do that? In order that those blessings that are exceedingly can be poured out upon others in need. Also, in Psalms 35:27 the word says "Let him shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteousness cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant." It pleases God when we are prosperous. He delights in the prosperity of his people. The word tells us in Psalms 35:27 that God wishes for us to prosper, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth".
There is an issue that needs to be settled for once and for all, and that is the issue of whether or not God's children should be prosperous. GOD WANTS HIS CHILDREN PROSPEROUS! He wants his children Healed, He wants His children living whole and at peace with their families. Husbands loving wives and visa versa, siblings getting along. He wants His children to be saved and favored by His blessings of increase. He wants His children not to walk in lack, but to walk in abundance and in a position to meet the needs of others. He wants his children to be a blessing, to be distribution centers to others. He wants for His children to walk in the over and above in every area of their lives. The same blessing that was upon Abraham is still upon God's children today, because God is the same yesterday, today and forever.
So now that this is settled, make a quality decision to walk in God's blessings, abundance and Favor in every area of your life. It is your God given right to live in the over and the above, living a life of happiness with nothing missing and nothing broken. It is your inheritance to walk in favor, increase and the blessings of God. Go ahead it is pleasing to God to see you happy, whole, favored and living in peace. Go on... We dare you!
Our prayer for you is that God will lavish you with exceedingly great blessings of increase in ever area of your life. That He will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon you that there is not room enough for you to receive. If you desire and want that in your life today just say... I believe I receive! And it shall be done unto you according to Mark 11:24: "Therefore I say unto you, What things so ever you desire, when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them".
The Tithe
The tithe is the covenant connector. The tithe (the first 10th) belongs to God and is sacred and holy. Tithing causes increase and protection upon your life and finances. It will bring forth favor and increase and rebuke the devour on your behalf. God will open up the windows of heaven and pour out His blessings upon the diligent, faithful and consistent tither. Mal 3:10 "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it."
It works... The members at Seeds for the Heart and the Ministry itself are a living testimony of the law of Seed Time and Harvest and the Spiritual Law of Tithing. We tithe individually and then the ministry tithes on all donations and contributions that come in... and based on that God is multiplying and causing miracles to take place here.
